AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By the Auckland Harbour Board for the Port of Auckland.

IN pursuance of the powers and authority vested in the Auckland Harbour Board the following rates, dues, and charges for the use of:

THE DEVONPORT WHARF, NORTH SHORE,
THE FLAGSTAFF WHARF, NORTH SHORE, and
THE WHARF, STOKES’ POINT,

and for landing of goods, wares and merchandise thereat and thereon are hereby imposed and levied:—

  • Steam Ferry Boats, at per annum, £8 (Payable quarterly in advance).
  • Pulling or Sailing Boats, at per annum, £2 (Payable quarterly in advance).
  • Other Vessels and Boats, not exceeding 20 tons register, discharging light goods only at per ton, 3d.

Personal luggage or such goods as shall be carried by hand will be free.

And the special rates, dues and charges hitherto levied for the use of the Devonport wharf are hereby abolished.

Given at Auckland under the Common Seal of the Auckland Harbour Board, upon the twenty-first day of September, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, in the presence of

PROCLAMATION.

By the Auckland Harbour Board for the Port of Auckland.

IN pursuance of the powers and authority vested in the Auckland Harbour Board, the limits and boundaries of the under-mentioned Wharves, for the purposes of "The Marine Act, 1867" are hereby defined, that is to say:—

  1. THE FLAGSTAFF WHARF, NORTH SHORE: bounded on the North by the Beach Road, and by land between high and low water-mark, and on the East, South and West by the waters of the Waitemata Harbour.

  2. THE WHARF, STOKES’ POINT: bounded on the East by a Public Road, and by land between high and low water-mark, and on the North-west and South by the waters of the Waitemata Harbour.

Given at Auckland under the Common Seal of the Auckland Harbour Board,

Application for Registration

I THE undersigned GEORGE PHILIP HILTON, hereby make application to register "THE LOYALTY GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED," under the provisions of:

  • "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,"
  • "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Amendment Act, 1869," and
  • "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Amendment Act, 1870,"

and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, viz:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is The Loyalty Gold Mining Company.
  2. The place of operations is at the Karaka Creek, Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Eight thousand four hundred pounds sterling, in Four thousand two hundred shares of Two pounds each.
  4. The amount paid up in cash is Nil, by partly paid-up shares, Four thousand two hundred pounds allotted to the shareholders.
  5. The name of the Manager is GEORGE PHILIP HILTON.
  6. The Office of the Company is in Brown-street, Grahamstown.
  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows, namely:—
