PROCLAMATION.

By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

BY virtue of the powers and authority vested in me as Superintendent by the eleventh section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867," and, upon the recommendation of the Auckland Provincial Council, made in conformity thereto, I do hereby proclaim and declare that I have made the following Reserves, and dedicated the same to the public purposes respectively hereunder set forth, that is to say :--

Description of Reserve. Purpose to which Dedicated.
Parish of WAITEMATA, County of Eden: South-western portion of section No. 34 of the City of Auckland, containing two acres, more or less; bounded towards the north by other portions of section No. 34 of the City of Auckland aforesaid, 358 links; towards the east by a road 50 feet wide, 559 links; towards the south by another road 66 feet wide, 358 links; and towards the west by Symonds-street, 559 links, be the said measurements a little more or less ... Site for Grammar School and playground.
Parish of WAITEMATA, County of Eden, in the suburbs of Auckland: Containing 5 acres 1 rood and 20 perches, and being a strip of land 2,800 links in length by 200 links in width, traversing allotments Nos. 1A, 106, 107 and 108 of section No. 6 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and being intersected from east to west by a public road 100 links wide ... Rifle Range.
Parish of WAIUKU EAST, County of Eden: Allotment No. 161, and south-western portions of allotments Nos. 162, 163, and 164, containing 26 acres 1 rood and 26 perches, more or less; bounded towards the north-east by other portions of allotments Nos. 164, 163, and 162, 3,176 links; towards the north-west by other portion of allotment No. 162 aforesaid, 1,039 links; again towards the north-east by allotment No. 160, 1,695 links; towards the south-east by a road 100 links wide, 404 links, and 846 links; towards the south-west by a road of width aforesaid, 4,776 links; and again towards the north-west by allotment No. 165, 200 links ... Parade Ground and Rifle Range.
