Wairoa, to the west angle of lot 27 of said parish towards the south by the centre of the road which forms part of the south-eastern boundary of lot No. 190 of the parish of Pakuranga from the western angle of lot 27 aforesaid to the Papakura river, thence by the Papakura river aforesaid to the north-eastern boundary of lot 65 of the parish of Papakura and continuing along the north-eastern boundary of lot 65 aforesaid and the north-eastern boundaries of lots 63 and 64 to the north-eastern angle of last-named lot, thence by the north-western, northern and western boundaries of lot 64 to the northern boundary of lot 96 of the parish of Manurewa, and thence by part of the northern boundary of said lot 96 to the eastern boundary of the Tamaki East Highway District; and towards the west by the eastern boundary of the Tamaki East Highway District aforesaid from the point last-named to the north-western angle of lot 235 of the parish of Pakuranga, and thence by the north-western boundary of lot 235 aforesaid to the Maungamaungaroa—the place of commencement.

THE WAIKOMITI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

AMENDED BOUNDARIES

Bounded towards the north-east by the Whau Creek, from the south-eastern boundary of the land known as Henderson and Macfarlane’s claim to the Whau bridge; towards the south-east by the Great North road, from the Whau bridge aforesaid to the junction of the said road with the Waikomiti road, thence by the centre of the last-named road, being the road which forms the north-western boundaries of allotments Nos. 88, 87, 86, 85, 238A, and 128 of the parish of Waikomit; and by said road continued to the north-western boundary of allotment No. 48; thence by said boundary and by part of the north-western and the whole of the south-eastern boundary of allotment No. 50, and by the last-named boundary produced to the north-western boundary of allotment No. 12 of said parish of Waikomiti; thence by part of the north-western and the whole of the south-eastern boundary of said lot 12, and by a right line, thence to the north-eastern angle of allotment No. 77; thence by the northern and part of the western boundary of said allotment No. 77, part of the eastern, the southern, and part of the western boundaries of allotment No. 63, and the southern boundaries of allotments Nos. 64 and 65, as also the southern and western boundaries of allotment No. 66 to the road which forms its northern boundary, thence by the centre of said road to the eastern boundary of allotment No. 61; towards the south-west by the eastern boundary last-named, a creek called Canty’s Creek, and the southern boundary of allotment No. 10, of the parish of Waikomiti aforesaid to the south-eastern boundary of the land known as Henderson and Macfarlane’s claim aforesaid; and towards the north-west by the last-named boundary to the southern boundary of allotment No. 5 (Mr. Potter’s land) of the parish of Waikomiti, thence by said last-mentioned boundary to Canty’s Creek, and by said Creek to the south-eastern boundary of Henderson and Macfarlane’s claim before described, and again by said boundary to the Whau Creek, the place of commencement.

Road aforesaid; on the south by part of the southern boundary of Henderson and Macfarlane’s claim from the Whau river to Canty’s Creek, thence by said creek and the southern boundary of allotment No. 5 (Mr. Potter’s land) of the parish of Waikomit, thence by last-named boundary to Henderson and Macfarlane’s boundary, again by said last-mentioned boundary to the Waitakerei Range Road, thence by said road to the north-eastern angle of allotment No. 93 of the parish of Karangahape and by the northern boundary of the parish of Karangahape last named to the sea; and on the west by the sea.

By virtue of the powers in me vested by "The Highways Act, 1871," I do hereby notify that all that portion of the Province of Auckland hereunder described shall be a district under the said Act, and that such district shall be known by the name prefixed thereto, that is to say—

THE ARCH HILL HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Bounded towards the North by the Great North Road from Oakley’s Creek at the western angle of allotment No. 36 of the parish of Titirangi to the northern angle of allotment No. 13 of section No. 7 of the suburbs of Auckland; towards the East by the western boundary of allotment No. 12 of section No. 7 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid to its south-western angle; towards the South by part of the southern boundary of section No. 7 aforesaid from the south-western angle of allotment No. 12 of section and suburbs aforesaid to the south-western angle of allotment No. 20, also of section No. 7; thence by the western boundary of allotments Nos. 35, 36 and 37 of section No. 5 of the suburbs of Auckland to the centre of the road which forms the southern boundary of allotment No. 37 before-mentioned; thence westerly by the centre of said road to the centre of the road which forms the western boundary of allotment No. 176 of section No. 10 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and continuing southerly by centre of said road to the easternmost angle of allotment No. 172 of section No. 10 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid; thence by the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of allotment No. 172 before-mentioned to the Meola Stream; thence westerly by the Meola Stream to the eastern boundary of allotment No. 29 of the parish of Titirangi aforesaid; thence by the eastern boundary of allotment No. 29 and the eastern and southern boundaries of allotment No. 35 to the road at its south-western angle and crossing said road and continuing along the southern boundary of allotment No. 32, all of the parish of Titirangi aforesaid, to Oakley’s Stream; and towards the West by Oakley’s Stream to the Great North Road at the western angle of allotment No. 30 of the parish of Titirangi: first-mentioned—the place of commencement.

AMENDED BOUNDARIES.

Bounded on the north by the southern boundaries of the Waitakerei West Highway District to the Great North Road; on the east by the Great North Road.
