COROMANDEL GOLDFIELD.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland
BY virtue and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by section 10 of "The Goldfields Act, 1866," and the delegation held by me, I do hereby exempt from occupation for Mining purposes all that Piece of Ground within the Coromandel Goldfield extending Four hundred yards on each side of a straight line commencing at the lowest platform of the self-acting grades of the Tokatea Tramway and terminating on the Eastern side of the Coromandel Range at a point of junction of two main branches of the Harataunga Creek below the Claim known as the "Siege of Paris." Provided always that the above exemption shall not extend to any portion of the said lands now lawfully occupied for Mining purposes.
Given under my hand at Auckland this fifth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent's Office,
Auckland, 8th June, 1871.
IN pursuance of the 29th section of "The Goldfields Act, 1866," and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Leases.
Copies of the applications made, and Plans annexed may be seen at the Warden's Office, Grahamstown.

ROBERT BURRA, 15 years’ lease of about 5 acres more or less, auriferous quartz land, bounded by the "Evening Star," "Golden Age," "United Service," "True Briton," "Unicorn," and "Dayspring" claims, Waiotahi, Karaka, formerly known as the "Gladstone" Lease; not held under Miner’s Rights; application received in Warden’s Office, Grahamstown, at 10.2 a.m. 29th May, 1871, R.B. 883.
