PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of
Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority in me vested by “The Tamaki Bridge Act, 1864,” I do hereby notify that, on and after the 1st day of January, 1871, the following and no other Tolls shall be leviable at the Toll Gate at the Tamaki Bridge, near Panmure, namely:—

For every single or saddle horse . . . . 0 3
For every carriage or vehicle drawn by one horse . . . . 0 6
For every carriage or vehicle drawn by two horses . . . . 0 9
For every carriage or vehicle drawn by more than two horses . . . . 1 0
For every public van or conveyance carrying passengers for hire . . . . 2 0
For every dray drawn by bullocks : every two bullocks to be charged as one horse . . . . 3 0
For all great cattle per head . . . . 0 3
For pigs, sheep, and goats per head . . . . 0 0½
No Toll to be levied on foot passengers.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this seventeenth day of December, One thousand eight hundred and seventy.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 15th December, 1870.

IT is hereby notified that the Leases of the Harbour Endowment Properties enumerated in the Schedule hereunder, for a period of twelve calendar months, commencing on the 1st January, 1871, will be offered for sale by public auction, by Messrs. Cochrane and Son, at their mart, Fort-street, on Friday, the 23rd instant, at twelve o’clock noon.

SCHEDULE.

  1. Twenty-one Allotments on the Breakwater Road, numbered respectively 1—21.
  2. Fourteen Allotments, known as the Timber Wharves, Custom-house-street, numbered 2—15.
  3. Five Allotments, situated between the Gore-street Jetty and the Breakwater Road, with a frontage to Custom-house-street, numbered 17—21.
  4. Nine Beach Allotments, situated westward of the Queen-street Wharf and Albert-street, numbered respectively 29, 30, 32, 33, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 16th December, 1870.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughter-house Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that an application has been made to me by

Messrs. JOHN FISHER AND CO., of Auckland,

for a Private Slaughter-house License to the premises known as Ellerslie Farm.

Objections against the granting of such License must be lodged at this office within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.
