conveyed by the said Ngakapa Whanaunga to one Daniel Joseph O’Keefe by deed, bearing date the 21st day of February, 1870, and registered in the Deeds Register Office, at Auckland, as number 1128n. With all buildings thereon erected. And I further give notice that the interest of the said Ngakapa Whanaunga consists of an Estate in fee simple, and that the same has been taken by me in execution at the suit of the said Richard Coles Jordan, the execution creditor.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claim of the person whose name is mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several block of land, the name and locality of which is mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder will be investigated at Auckland, on the 20th day of December next and following days.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Court, which was advertised to be held at Auckland on the 20th day of December, 1870, will sit pro forma on the day appointed, and be adjourned to the 6th of January, 1871.

It was nicknamed the 'Shedifice' as it was large and drafty, with a leaking roof. First premier Henry Sewell described it as 'a great wooden barnshaped affair, which might serve for a Hospital, a Jail, or a Barrack'.
