Board of Highway Trustees for the WAIOTAHI
District, has reported, in writing, to me the Election of
Mr. WILLIAM DAVIES, and
Mr. JAMES SARGENT,
as Highway Trustees for that District, in the place
of Mr. Lowther Broad, and Mr. George Oughton,
disqualified.

NORTH District, has reported to the Superintendent
the appointment of
Mr. THOMAS J. JAGGAR, junr.,
as Collector to the Board.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the
District Court of Auckland, for the disposal
of Civil Business, will be holden at the Court-house,
Grahamstown, on Tuesday, the 17th day of May,
1870, at half-past 19 o'clock a.m.

hereby make application to register the
"CLYDE AND TYNE GOLD MINING COMPANY
(Registered)," under the provisions of "The
Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act, 1865,"
and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the
following statement is, to the best of my belief,
and knowledge true in every particular, namely:-

  1. The name and style of the Company is,
    the "Clyde and Tyne Gold Mining Company
    (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the Karaka Hill,
    at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of
    Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Ten
    thousand Pounds (£10,000), in Four thousand
    shares (4,000) of Two Pounds Ten shillings (£2 10s.)
    each.

  4. The amount already paid-up in Cash is Nil;
    and in partly paid-up Scrip Six thousand Pounds
    (£6,000).

  5. The name of the Manager is Alexander Taylor
    Munro.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Sands-street,
    Shortland.

  7. The names and several residences of the
    shareholders, and the number of shares held by
    each at this date, are as follows, namely:
