PROCLAMATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES,
Esquire, Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS by an Act of the Local Legis-lature of the Province of Auckland, intituled "An Act to consolidate and amend the Laws relating to Slaughter Houses," (Session XIV., No. 5,) it was among other things enacted that it should be lawful for the Superintendent of the said Province, by Proclamation in the Provincial Government Gazette, from time to time, to constitute and define Slaughter House Districts:
And, WHEREAS it is considered expedient to constitute and define the Town of Tauranga within the said Province a Slaughter House District:
Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the power so vested in me in that behalf by the said Act, I, Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, the said Superintendent, do hereby constitute and define the Town of Tauranga aforesaid, to be a Slaughter House District, within the meaning of the said Act: the limits of which shall comprise the whole of the land at Tauranga originally purchased by the Church Missionary Society, between Te Papa Point and the Gate Pa, together with the Village of Greerton.

IT is hereby notified that I have accepted the Tender from Mr. George J. ves. of Wellesley-street, Auckland, for the Service of Printing for the Provincial Council during the year 1870.

IN pursuance of the powers in me vested by the third clause of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby notify for general information, that I have amended the boundaries of the BANGIAOHIA District under the said Act, as hereunder set forth.
