PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 2nd December, 1869.

TENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Monday, the 20th instant, for the undermentioned Services and Supplies for the Provincial Government, during the periods stated, commencing on the 1st January, 1870.

Printed Forms of Tender, and other information can be obtained at this Office.

Tenders for separate Contracts must be written upon separate Forms; and each such Form must be enclosed in a separate envelope, sealed, and endorsed “Tender for (number and name of Contract.)”

The specifications and conditions of the several Contracts are not the same as those of former years.

For Twelve Calendar Months.

  1. Printing for the Provincial Government.
  2. Printing for the Provincial Council.
  3. Stationery.
  4. Binding.
  5. Carting.
  6. Wrought Iron Work.

For Six Calendar Months.

  1. Coals.
  2. Firewood.
  3. Rations for Mount Eden Gaol.
  4. Rations for Auckland Lock-up.
  5. Prison and Police Supplies.
  6. Provisions for Provincial Hospital.
  7. Provisions for Provincial Lunatic Asylum.
  8. Rations for Sick and Destitute Persons.
  9. Bread for Hospital (separate).
  10. Bread for Lunatic Asylum (separate).

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

In pursuance of the power in me vested by the fourth clause of “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby bring into operation within the Pukerua District, and appoint the First Meeting of the Electors to take place in the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, Cambridge, on Thursday, the sixteenth day of December instant, at three o’clock, p.m.

Given under my hand at Auckland this third day of December, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
