NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Haruru, Waitangi, Bay of Islands, on the 24th of March, 1870, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant Name and locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as transated from the Claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Kaiwaka Tokerau, near Mangonui Commencing on the sea coast at Te Arakanihi it ascends to Whakaenge, it goes to Tangi-te-perehere, to Poutoroa and Omaruhanga, it falls into the sea at Reinga, it then follows the sea coast to the commencing point at Te Arakanihi
Taraiti Werohu, Mikaera Maio, Hemi Puearo, Wiripo Te Wainui, Hohepa, Petera, Rewi, and Kaiwaka Taimaro, near Mangonui Commencing at Okopiri, it follows the Government line and ascends to Pukuhinau, it goes to Kohiaroa, Puketutu, and Whakaenga, it falls into the sea at Arakanihi, then follows the sea coast to the commencing point at Okopiri
Tamati Pukututu Te Tainga, near the Kawakawa Bounded on the South by Government land and Maori land; on the West by Te Tainga, and on the East and North by Maori land
Tamati Pukututu Kakamatenga, near the Kawakawa Commencing on the North-east corner of Kakamatenga, and bounded on the South by part of that block; thence on the West and North by Maori land to the Kawakawa river, and on the East by the Kawakawa river
Maihi Paraone Kawhiti Te Taramurorine, near the Kawakawa The boundaries are shown on the map

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Court House of the Resident Magistrate, Kororareka, Bay of Islands.
