NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Shortland, Hauraki, on the 4th of January, 1870, and following days.

Auckland, November 18th, 1869.

Name of Claimant. Name and locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as translated from the Claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Taraia Ngakuti and Pita Heihei Otuturu, near Waihomu Commencing on the Western boundary on the beach at Te Pohoī River, it follows Te Pohoī river in an easterly direction on the Southern side of Te Karaka, and comes to the hills; it then turns in a North-westerly direction and comes to the Otuturu stream; it follows that stream to the beach; it then goes along the beach to Te Pohoī and there ends.
Te Wano Te Paura Te Tete, near Ohinemuri Commencing on the Western boundary at the Tama's house at Rawitiroa, it goes inland and then goes in a North-easterly direction to where the Ohinemuririver branches; it goes into the Ohinemuri and follows that stream to the commencing point at Rawitiroa.
Te Kemara Tirarauahine Patete, near Ohinemuri Commencing on the Ohinemuri River, it goes in a North-easterly direction; it then goes in a North-westerly direction; it then comes back in a Westerly direction to the Ohinemuri River.
Rupene, Potae Te Poha, Te Wano, Te Paura Owerangi, near Ohinemuri It runs Southerly from the Ohinemuri River, and goes to Te Ure-o-te-matakei; continues on in a North-easterly direction; it then goes to the Ohinemuri, and follows that stream.

The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen in the Office of the Inspector of Surveys, Auckland.
