PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled “An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs” (Session 1, No. 4, 1854), it was amongst other things enacted that the said Act should come into operation in such districts as should be proclaimed by the Superintendent in the Auckland Provincial Gazette to come within the operation of the said Act:
And whereas it is considered expedient to bring the said Act into operation within the districts hereinafter mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Williamson, the Superintendent aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, do hereby proclaim that, from and after the first day of December, 1869, the District of ALBERTLAND SOUTH as constituted under “The Highways Act, 1867,” shall come within the operation of the said Act.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this sixteenth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
BY virtue of the power conferred upon me by the forty-second clause of “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby delegate unto the Highway Trustees of the ALBERTLAND SOUTH District and their successors in office, the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland by the fourth, fifth, and ninth sections of “The Thistle Act, 1858.”
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this sixteenth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
