PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by a Notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 1st September, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land, situate on the Karaka Creek, Thames Gold Field, to THOMAS EDWARD MEATS, upon his application, received the 28th day of July, 1869.

Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicant, THOMAS EDWARD MEATS, has withdrawn such application.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this eleventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

WHEREAS by a Notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 30th August, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land, situate on the Otunui Block, Thames Gold Field, to ROBERT GALLOWAY, upon his application dated the 2nd day of August, 1869.

Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicant, ROBERT GALLOWAY, has withdrawn such application.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this eleventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION

The undersigned, WILLIAM SCOTT LYELL, hereby make application to register the "Venus Gold Mining Company (Registered)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act, 1865" and "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. That the name and style of the Company is the "Venus Gold Mining Company (Registered)."
