By virtue of the powers in me vested by the forty-second clause of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby delegate unto the Highway Trustees of the KAURIHONORI District, the powers and authority vested in me as Superintendent of the Province of Auckland by the fourth, fifth, and ninth sections of "The Thistle Act, 1858."

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this sixth day of November,
One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
