NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Kapanga, Coromandel, on the 21st of December next, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Name and locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as translated from the Claims. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Enoka Puia, Rewi Atana, and Taupaki Moewai, near Whitianga Commencing at the Moewai Creek to Te-whare-koko-hinu is one boundary, the decline (of the hill) is the western boundary, Tama-ure-peke into the Moewai (creek) is another boundary. The Maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen in the Office of the Inspector of Surveys, Auckland.
Te Moananui Rangipukea No. 2, near Tikouma The sea is one boundary and Titiparu’s land is another boundary.
Mohi Mangakahia Opitonui, near Whangapoua Commencing from the mouth of Waingaro it goes straight along the ridge of Whakapai-oneone, it goes on to Tau-wharekiri continues on and goes up the high ridge above, dividing it from Waiau, it runs along the ridge which runs in a Southerly direction, it goes over Motutere continues on over the top of Hikurangi, and reaches Porapora, it descends to Te Waitoi and joins at the mouth of Waingaro.
Mohi Mangakahia, Pita Taurua, Hamiora Mangakahia, and Makoare Pukeroa Te Ranga, near Whangapoua Commencing from Te Wetahi it runs along the water-shed and ascends to Te Ranga, it then runs along the ridge that goes towards the North-west until it reaches the branch of the Waitekuri, it runs in the Waitekuri stream and joins at Te Wetahi.
