PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by a Notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 15th September, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land, situate on Te Whaka Block, near Tararu, Thames Gold Field, to Richard Joseph Monnssey, upon his application, dated the 6th day of August, 1869.

Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicant, Richard Joseph Monnssey, has withdrawn such application.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this thirtieth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

In pursuance of the power in me vested by the fourth clause of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby notify that a lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land within the Karangahake District, and appoint the first Meeting of the Electors to take place in the Newton Hall, on Monday, the eighth day of November, proximo, at half-past seven o'clock p.m.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this thirtieth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

HEREBY notify, that the Chairman of the Annual Meeting of the Electors of the Rangiora District under "The Highways Act, 1867," has reported, in writing, to me the names of the undermentioned gentlemen, duly elected Highway Trustees for that District:

Captain D. Beckett.
Mr. Hamlet Orum.
Major William Jackson.
