Taupe Te Iwitere, Hikairo Te Tumu, Maketu In the Hangu River to its ending, turns to the west until it reaches Pukemaire, goes down to the Tarawerea River to the Pakipaki-o-tawaka it then comes to Te Hangu where the boundary ends. Commencing on the eastern side at Hauhau-pounamu it goes to Mangati, Otunui-Taiarea, Ohakiri, Mangawhio, Okahu, Waiwhakapa, Te Tau-o-putauaki, Te Iwiroa, Te Rekereke-e-tuna, and Waipapa, this finishes the boundary on the south side ; commencing again at Waipapa it goes to Wairua, Te Ohimanawa, Pokapoka, Tumutara, Te Pakipaki, and joins at Hauhau-pounamu.
