Auckland, October 5th, 1869.

WHEREAS by the "Native Lands Act, 1869," it is enacted that every Certificate of Title granted by the Native Land Court shall be dated on the day on which it shall be signed by the Judge signing the same, and such day shall be deemed to be the day of issue thereof; and it is further provided that it shall be lawful for any Judge issuing a Certificate of Title, if he think fit, to fix in such Certificate a day on which the legal estate in the land described in the said Certificate shall be vested under any Crown Grant of the same to be thereafter issued. Provided that such day shall not be before the date on which the Order for the Certificate was made in Court. And it is further provided that every conveyance, transfer, gift, contract, or promise affecting or relating to the land in respect of which such Certificate of Title is granted, made or entered into after the day so fixed in such Certificate, shall not be void under or affected by the 75th section of the "Native Lands Act, 1865."

Now I hereby give notice that, on the 18th of October instant, I purpose to sign the Certificates of Title to the undermentioned blocks of land in the Hauraki District, and to fix the several days on which the Orders were made in Court to be the days on which the legal estates shall respectively vest, unless application shall in the meantime be made to me in writing stating some objection to such dates, in which case I will sit in Chambers, on the said 18th day of October, to hear such objections.
