PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS by a Notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 8th September, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land, situate at Puriri, Thames Gold Fields, to WILLIAM HENDERSON, on behalf of the “Star of Fortune” Claim, upon his application received on the 3rd day of August, 1869.
Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicant, WILLIAM HENDERSON, has withdrawn such application.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this twenty-seventh day of September, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

I, JORDAN, the undersigned, RICHARD COIES hereby make application to register “The Mountain Flower Gold Mining Company (Registered)” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865;” and “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869;” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

That the name and style of the Company is “The Mountain Flower Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

That the place of operations is on the Moanataiari Creek, in the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, and Colony of New Zealand.

That the nominal capital of the Company is Seven thousand Pounds, in Two thousand and eight hundred shares of Two Pounds ten shillings each.

That the amount paid up in cash is Nil, and in partly paid-up shares, Five thousand six hundred Pounds, being the estimated value of the mine.

That the name of the Manager is Richard Coies Jordan.

That the Office of the Company is in Albert-street, Grahamstown.

That the names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follow, viz.:
