I, THE undersigned, Francis Henry Burslem, hereby make application to register "The Waiotahi Cascades Gold Mining Company (Registered)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Waiotahi Cascades Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is on the Waiotahi Creek, Thames Goldfields, Province of Auckland, and Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Three thousand Pounds, in Six hundred shares of Five Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is One thousand two hundred Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is Francis Henry Burslem.

  6. The Office of the Company is at 44, Shortland-street, City of Auckland.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follow:—

    Henry Brittain, of Auckland . . . . 100 shares
    John Browning, of Grahamstown . . 100 shares
    John Buchanan, of Auckland . . . 100 shares
    Ann Elizabeth Burslem, of Auckland 100 shares
    John Morton, of Grahamstown . . . 100 shares
    Alfred Russell Webb, of Auckland . 100 shares

    Total . . . . 600

I, THE undersigned, William Gorrie, hereby make application to register "The Hastings Gold Mining Company (Registered)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Act 1869," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Hastings Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at Tapu, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
