PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS by a notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 21st July, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land, situate near Messenger’s Hill, Thames Goldfields, to the “Waitemata Gold Mining Company,” upon W. Rowe’s application, dated the 28th day of June, 1869.
Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicant, W. Rowe, has withdrawn such application.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this thirteenth day of September, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

WHEREAS by a notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 20th August, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown Land, situate on the Waiotahi Creek, Thames Gold Fields, to Michael Hennelly and Alexander Donald McTavish, for and on behalf of the Shareholders of the “Solferino” and “Daisy Hill” Claims, upon their application dated the 15th day of July, 1869.
Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicants, Michael Hennelly, and Alexander Donald McTavish, have withdrawn such application.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this thirteenth day of September, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
