I, THE undersigned, GEORGE RITCHIE, hereby make application to register "THE CLARKSON'S No. 1 GOLD MINING AND QUARTZ CRUSHING COMPANY (REGISTERED)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "Clarkson's No. 1 Gold Mining and Quartz Crushing Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operation is at Wiseman's Gully, Thames Goldfield.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Thirty thousand Pounds (representing the value of plant and mine), in Thirty thousand shares of One Pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Twenty-five thousand and five hundred Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is George Ritchie.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Wyndham Chambers, Wyndham-street, Auckland.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follow, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Hazelbank Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the Moanataiari Creek, Thames Goldfield.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty-seven thousand Pounds, in Five thousand four hundred shares of Five Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Twenty-four thousand three hundred Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is James Skene.

I, THE undersigned, ROBERT GORDON MACDONALD, hereby make application to register "THE MONTE CHRISTO GOLD MINING COMPANY (Registered)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Monte Christo Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the Otunui Block, Mangakirikiri Creek, Thames Gold Fields.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty-one thousand Pounds (representing the value of the mine), in Twenty-one thousand shares of One Pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Sixteen thousand Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is Robert Gordon Macdonald.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Shortland-street, Auckland.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held, are as follow:—
