PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by a Notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated 21st July, 1869, it was notified that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes of Crown land, situate near the Karaka Creek, Thames Goldfields, to Thomas Edward Meats and party, upon his application dated the 28th day of June, 1869:

Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicant, Thomas Edward Meats, has withdrawn such application.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
