I THE undersigned, JOHN GWYNNETH, hereby make application to register "THE DUKE OF KENT GOLD MINING COMPANY (REGISTERED)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular; namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Duke of Kent Gold Mining Company (Registered)."
  2. The place of operations is at the Ridge between the Karaka and Hape Creeks, Karaka Block, at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twenty thousand Pounds, in Twenty thousand shares of One Pound each.
  4. The amount already paid up is Seventeen Shillings and Sixpence (17s. 6d.) per share.
  5. The name of the Manager is John Gwynneth.
  6. The Office of the Company is at Owen-street, Grahamstown.
