I, THE undersigned, LOWTHER BROAD, hereby make application to register "THE SCOTCHMAN’S UNITED GOLD MINING COMPANY (Registered)," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:-

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Scotchman’s United Gold Mining Company (Registered.)"

  2. The place of operations is at Manga-kirikiri Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Thirty-two thousand Pounds, in Thirty-two thousand shares of One Pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up, is Twenty-eight thousand Pounds, in paid-up scrip.

  5. The name of the Manager is Lowther Broad.

  6. The Office of the Company is at the Royal Exchange, Grahamstown.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follow, namely:-

  1. The name and style of the Company is "The Golden Calf Gold Mining Company (Registered)."

  2. The place of operations is at the Moanatairi Creek, Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company £18,000, in 3,600 shares of Five Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is £14,400, in paid up scrip allotted by the Company to the original shareholders.

  5. The name of the Manager is Lowther Broad.
