I, THE undersigned, Nathaniel William Massey, hereby make application to register “The Shortland Gold Mining Company (Registered),” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is “The Shortland Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

  2. The place of operations is at the Karaka Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Nine thousand Pounds, in Three thousand shares of Three Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is Seven thousand Eight hundred and Seventy-five Pounds.

  5. The name of the Manager is Nathaniel William Massey.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Brown-street, Grahamstown.
