PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By Every Maclean, Esquire,
Deputy-Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
BY virtue of the power in the Superintendent vested by the fourteenth Section of “The Common Schools Act, 1869,” I do hereby give notice that that portion of the Province of Auckland, comprised within the boundaries hereinunder described, shall be an Educational District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name of
THE TAURANGA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT,
comprising the Town and Suburbs of Tauranga, together with the Town of Greerton.
And I do hereby appoint a Meeting of the resident occupiers of land and householders to take place at Chadwick’s Hotel, Tauranga, on Saturday, the seventeenth day of July next, at seven o’clock in the afternoon, to appoint a Chairman, elect a School Committee, and for the other purposes set forth in the fourteenth Section of the said Act.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified, for general information, that application has been made to the Superintendent by
MR. ALBERT DORNWELL
for the renewal of the Private Slaughterhouse License granted to his premises situated near the Three Kings, being part of allotments 7 and 9, section 13.

I, THE undersigned, Thomas Peacock, hereby make application to register “THE TAPU GREAT REPUBLIC GOLD MINING COMPANY (REGISTERED),” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

The name and style of the Company is, “The Tapu Great Republic Gold Mining Company, Registered.”

The place of operations is at No. 2 Creek, Hastings.
