PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, May 10th, 1869.

It is hereby notified, for general information, that the PUBLIC LANDING of HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS the DUKE OF EDINBURGH is appointed to take place at ELEVEN O’CLOCK A.M., on MONDAY, the 10th day of MAY instant, at the Queen’s Wharf.

The following notification has been forwarded to me by order of His Excellency the Governor, and is published for general information.

Government House,
Auckland, May 8, 1869.

His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, K.G., will land at the Queen’s Wharf on Monday, the 10th May, soon after 11 a.m., and will hold a Levée at Government House, at 1 p.m. the same day.

Gentlemen attending the Levée will wear official dress, uniform, or evening costume; and will bring two cards with their names printed or written thereon, one to be left in the Entrance Hall, the other to be given to the Aide-de-Camp in waiting.

The Entrée Circle, and Members of both Houses of Parliament will assemble in the Dining-room; and all other gentlemen in the Entrance Hall and on the Terrace.
