PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

WHEREAS by a Notification published
in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated the 26th January, 1869, I did notify that it was intended to grant a Lease for Gold Mining purposes, of Crown Land, situate on the Waikiekie Creek, on the Ohinui Block, to W. S. Lyell and Arthur Tillotson, upon their application, dated the sixth day of January, 1869;
Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicants, W. S. Lyell and Arthur Tillotson, have withdrawn such application.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

WHEREAS by a Notification published in the Auckland Provincial Government Gazette, dated the 23rd April, 1869, I did notify that it was intended to grant for Gold Mining purposes, of Crown land situate in Wiseman’s Gully, Shellback Creek, to David Clarkson, senior, William Clarkson, and James Clarkson, upon their application, dated the seventeenth day of April, 1869;
Now, therefore, I do hereby notify that the said applicants, David Clarkson, senior, William Clarkson, and James Clarkson, have withdrawn such application.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

THE undersigned, Robert Gordon McDonald, hereby make application to register “The Ashley Gold Mining Company (Registered)” under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is to the best of my belief and knowledge true in every particular, namely:—

The name and style of the company is “The Ashley Gold Mining Company (Registered).”

The place of operation is at the Thames Goldfields, in the Province of Auckland.

The nominal capital of the Company is eight thousand pounds, in one thousand six hundred Shares, of Five pounds each.
