PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 15th March, 1869.
IT is hereby notified that the period commencing on Wednesday, the 17th instant, and terminating on Saturday, the 20th instant (both days inclusive), will be observed upon the Thames Gold Field as a period during which all lawfully occupied Claims shall be deemed to be protected within the meaning of the Gold Fields Regulations.

I, THE undersigned, THOMAS MACFFARLANE, hereby make application to Register “THE LUCKY HIT GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED,” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865;” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my knowledge and belief, true in every particular, namely :—

The name and style of the Company is “The Lucky Hit Gold-Mining Company, Registered.”

The place of operations is the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland.

The Nominal Capital of the Company is Ten thousand pounds, in one thousand shares of Ten pounds each.
