IT is hereby notified that

WILLIAM BLACKBURN, Esq.,

has been appointed a Gold Field Surveyor and a Mining Surveyor for the Thames District, from the 10th instant.

I HEREBY notify, that the Chairman of the Annual Meeting of the Electors of the MANGAKI District has, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1867,” reported to me, in writing, the names of the undermentioned gentlemen, elected Highway Trustees for that District:—

BUCKLAND, JOHN.
HALL, WILLIAM.
SHEPHERD, CHARLES.
VERCOE, JOSEPH.
WALLACE, JAMES.

All private notices or advertisements intended for insertion in this Gazette must be forwarded to the Superintendent’s Office, accompanied by prepayment of the charge for advertising according to the rates above specified.

Such matter must be legibly written on one side of the paper only; and the number of insertions required must be signified in writing across the face of the copy.

The Government will not guarantee the publication of any such notice or advertisement within a given date; nor will the same be inserted unless prepaid.
