PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province
of Auckland, in the Colony of
New Zealand.

WHEREAS, by the eleventh clause of
"The Auckland Waste Lands Act,
1867," it is enacted that Reserves for the use
of the Provincial Government and for other
public purposes may, upon the recommen-
dation of the Provincial Council, be made by
the Superintendent; provided that if the
Provincial Council be not then sitting, the
Superintendent may temporarily reserve
land for such purposes until the next
session of such Council:

Now, therefore, I, John Williamson,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland
aforesaid, acting in pursuance of the powers
and authority above quoted, do hereby notify
that all those lands, which are described in
the Schedule hereunto annexed, have been
reserved for the use of the Provincial Go-
vernment until the next session of the Pro-
vincial Council of the Province of Auckland
aforesaid.

Given under my hand at Welling-
ton, this first day of October, in
the year of Our Lord, one thou-
sand eight hundred and sixty-
eight.
