PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Deputy Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
In pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by the third section of "The Highways Act, 1867," I do hereby notify, for general information, that I have altered and amended both the name and the boundaries of the Kyber Pass District under the said Act, as hereafter set forth.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

The District of Kyber Pass.
(Amended Boundaries defined in Gazette, No. 44, vol. 17, folio 392 and 393, dated 9th September, 1868) to be the
Grafton Road District.
Bounded towards the north by the southern boundary of section No. 34 of the City of Auckland from Symonds Street to the Grafton Road aforesaid, and by the centre of the road which forms the southern boundary of section No. 10 of the City of Auckland aforesaid, to Stanley Street, thence by the centre of Stanley Street aforesaid, and by the centre of the road to the Government Domain, and by the centre of said road produced to the Western boundary of said Government Domain; towards the east by the western boundaries of the Government Domain and Hospital Reserve to the road (known as Park Road) which forms the northern boundaries of allotments, Nos. 20, 21, and 22 of section No. 3 of the suburbs of Auckland, thence by the centre of the road last described to the north-eastern angle of allotment No. 22 aforesaid, thence by the eastern boundary of said lot, then crossing a road one hundred links wide, to the north-eastern angle of allotment No. 4 of said section and suburbs last named, and by the eastern boundary of said lot No. 4, to the Kyber Pass Road, thence easterly by the centre of the Kyber Pass Road aforesaid, to the centre of the road leading to the Mount Eden Stockade, and by the centre of said road leading to the Mount Eden Stockade, to its junction with the roads bounding on the south allotments Nos. 6 and 29 of section No. 6 of said suburbs of Auckland; towards the south by the centre of the road which forms the southern boundary of allotments Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2, and the southern and western boundaries of allotment No. 1, all of section No. 6 of the suburbs aforesaid, to its junction with the Kyber Pass Road and Symonds Street; and towards the west by the centre of Symonds Street aforesaid, to
