hereby make application to register
"THE PACTOLUS MINING AND QUARTZ CRUSHING COMPANY, REGISTERED,"
under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865;" and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the fol-
lowing statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular,
namely:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is
    "The Pactolus Mining and Quartz Crushing Company, Registered."
  2. The place of operations is at the Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is One thousand five hundred pounds, in sixty
    shares of twenty-five pounds each.
  4. The amount already paid up is one thousand three hundred and eighty pounds.
  5. The name of the manager is Hugh Stevenson.
  6. The office of the Company is at Willoughby-street, Shortland.
  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows:—

    "The Union Gold Mining Company Registered."
  2. The place of operation is the Thames Gold-field, in the Province of Auckland.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Six thousand three hundred pounds, in five
    hundred and four shares of twelve pounds and ten shillings each.
  4. The amount already paid up is Five thousand six hundred pounds.
  5. The name of the Manager is Captain James Stone.
  6. The Office of the Company is in the City of Auckland, in the Province of Auck-
    land.

under the provisions of the "Mining Companies Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the statements following are to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, viz:—

  1. The name and style of the Company is
    "The Golden Cup Mining Company, Limited."
  2. The place of operation is on the Waiotahi Creek.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is £4,000 in 400 shares of £10 each.
  4. The amount already paid up is £2,800.
