QUEEN STREET WHARF.
ADDITIONAL REGULATION.

Auckland, 27th January, 1868.
IN pursuance of the authority vested in me by “The Wharf Regulation Act, 1858,” I have, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, made the following additional Regulation; and I hereby give notice that the same will come into operation at the expiration of one month after a copy thereof shall have been published in the Provincial Government Gazette.

The master or person in charge of any vessel, previous to hauling alongside the Queen-street Wharf, shall provide a substantial and suitable gangway for the safe landing of passengers or other persons, of not less than thirty (30) inches in width; and the master or person in charge shall, between the hours of sunset and sunrise, burn a clear light to indicate the position of the gangway, subject to the approval of the Portmaster or Harbour-master, or persons deputed by them.
Any person guilty of a breach or non-performance of this Regulation, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding £20, nor less than £5.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf, I hereby notify for public information, that all those pieces or parcels of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunder written, will be offered for Sale, at Twelve o’clock noon, at the Waste Lands Office, (or at such other place as may seem advisable, of which future notice will be duly given,) at Auckland, on Monday, the 2nd day of March, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, as Town and Suburban Lands.
Given under my hand at Auckland, in the said Province, this twenty-seventh day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty eight.
