PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By EVERY MACLEAN, Esquire,
Deputy Superintendent of the
Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS, by the second section of
the "Sick and Destitute Act, 1868," the Superintendent is authorised and
required, as soon after the passing of the
said Act as shall be convenient, to appoint one
or more Collectors for each of the Districts
defined by the provisions of the said Act :
Now, therefore, I, EVERY MACLEAN, Deputy of the Superintendent aforesaid, do
hereby nominate and appoint
MR. JOHN WILLIAM DIDDAMS, of Auckland,
to be a Collector, under the said Act, for the
several Electoral Districts of AUCKLAND CITY
EAST, AUCKLAND CITY WEST, NEWTON, and
PARNELL.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this eighth day of
July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-eight.
