To Arnem J. Arrowsmith, of the Great Barrier Island, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Agent for the Great Barrier Land, Harbour, and Mining Company (Limited),
WRIT of ACTION
WHEREAS an Action is now pending in our Supreme Court of New Zealand, Northern District, Province of Auckland, between the Bank of New Zealand, as Plaintiff, the said Great Barrier Land, Harbour, and Mining Company (Limited), as Defendants, and in order that the Plaintiffs may proceed to the said action,
WE COMMAND you that you do retain and keep all and singular the lands and other hereditaments, monies, goods, and chattels, bills, bonds, and other property; of whatsoever nature, in the custody or under the control of you at the time of the service of this writ, belonging to the above-named Defendants or to or in which such Defendants shall at any time be legally or equitably entitled, or otherwise beneficially interested, and whether solely or jointly with any other person or persons, and all debts of every kind then due by you to such Defendants, although the same or any part thereof may be payable only at a future day.
Witness, His Honor Joseph Schroder Moore, Esquire, a Judge of our Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland, this tenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight.
This Writ was issued by Frederick Whitaker, of Wyndham street, in the City of Auckland, Solicitor for the Plaintiff.
NOTICE TO PUBLICANS, &c.
NOTICE is hereby given that the ANNUAL LICENSING MEETING of the Justices of the Peace for the City and Northern District of Auckland, will be holden at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, at Auckland, on TUESDAY, the 21st day of April, 1868, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of taking into consideration applications for Licenses to Sell Spirituous Liquors, Wine, Ale, or Beer.
