PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 11th November, 1867.

HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the Annual Meeting of the Electors of the East Tamaki Highway District has, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1867,” presented to me, in writing, the names of the undermentioned gentlemen, elected Highway Trustees for the District:—

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 9th November, 1867.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughter House Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified for general information, that application has been made, under the provisions of the fourth clause of the said Act, by

Mr. WILLIAM WALTERS

to the Superintendent, for the grant of a private slaughter house license to his premises near the Harp of Erin.

Crown Lands Office,
Auckland, 7th November, 1867.

HEREBY notify, that the Run described below has been claimed by William Butler.

Situation—Mongonui.

Boundaries—Bounded on the north by the road from Mongonui to Oruru; on the east by the Mongonui harbour; on the south by Native land; on the west by the farms of William Butler, Norton Butler, and Stephen Wrathall, junr., exclusive of all lands of European and Native proprietary within the before-mentioned boundaries.

Estimated extent—4000 acres.

Number and description of stock upon the Run (to commence with)—20 head of cattle and 200 sheep.

BY virtue of the powers in me vested by the forty-second section of “The Highways Act, 1867,” I do hereby delegate unto the Highway Trustees of the Otauhu Highway District, the powers and authority vested in me, as Superintendent, by the fourth, fifth, and ninth Sections of “The Thistle Act, 1858.”

Given under my hand at Auckland, this twelfth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven.
