IT is hereby notified that, under and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by virtue of the eighth section of “The Protection of Certain Animals Act Amendment Act, 1866,” the following persons have been appointed Rangers under the said Act, in addition to those whose names have been already published:

- William Charles Ryland
- Mr. Andrew Bonar, of Kaukapakapa,
- AND
- Thomas Campbell, District Constable for Kerikeri, near Papakura, vice Thomas Norris, who has been appointed to the Pokeno District.
