NOTICE is hereby given, that sitting
of the Compensation Court will be
holden at Port Waikato, on Wednesday, the
21st inst., and following days, to investigate
the claims of persons to compensation, on
account of the taking, under sundry orders
in Council, made in pursuance of the “New
Zealand Settlements Act, 1863,” of land
in the district of Waikato, situate to the north
of a line proceeding from Whaingaroa to the
Wangape Lake, and along the south side of
the Wangape Lake to its junction with the
Waikato River, thence along the Waikato
River to Paetai, thence to the Waikare
Lake, and from the Waikare Lake to Hapu-
akohe.

a License to Survey Land, under the “Native
Lands Act, 1865.”

IN pursuance of the power conferred on me
by the “Tamaki Bridge Act, 1864,” I
hereby notify that on and after the 1st day
of April, 1866, Tolls shall be paid at the Toll
Gate at the Tamaki Bridge, near Panmure,
after the rates following, viz.:—

For every single or saddle horse ... 0 6
For every carriage or vehicle drawn
by one horse ... 0 9
For every carriage or vehicle drawn
by two horses ... 1 0
For every carriage or vehicle drawn
by more than two horses, for each
horse ... 0 6
Not exceeding 2s. altogether.
For every public van or convey-
yance carrying passengers for
hire drawn by one horse ... 0 9
Ditto, drawn by two horses ... 1 0
Ditto, drawn by more than two horses,
for each horse ... 0 6
Not exceeding 2s. altogether.
For every dray drawn by bullocks,
every two bullocks to be charged
as one horse.
For all great and small cattle, per
head ... 0 3
For pigs, sheep, and goats, per head ... 0 1
For every foot passenger ... 0 0

below has been claimed by J. J. and G.
SCOTT:—

SITUATION—Muriwhenua, County of Mongonui.

BOUNDARIES—On the north-west by Sub-
ritzky’s Run, on the north-east by a line
from Subritzky’s Run to the Wharemaru
Block; on the east by the Wharemaru
Block; on the south-east by Maxwell’s
Claim; and on the south-west by the Sea.
Estimated extent, 20,000 acres.

Number and description of Stock upon
the Run, to commence with 500 Sheep.
