MANGAWHARA BLOCK.

All that land called the Mangawhara Block, bounded on the North by the Mangawhara River, on the West by the Waikato River, on the South by a line from the junction of the Waipa and Horotiu Rivers running East three miles, and thence on the East by a line running North to the Mangawhara River aforesaid, excepting the Church of England School grant at Hopuhopu.

CENTRAL WAIKATO.

All that land bounded on the North by a line commencing at Raglan, and proceeding to the Whangape Lake, and along the South side of Whangape Lake to its junction with the Waikato River, down the Waikato River to Maungatawhiri, thence to Pukorokoro; on the South by a line proceeding from Whaingaroa Harbour to Waitetuna River, thence by the Waitetuna River to its source, thence by a straight line to the summit of the Pirongia Range, thence to the summit of Kapamahunga and Hakarimata Ranges to a line running East to the junction of the Waipa and Horotiu Rivers, thence by that line to the said junction, and by a line extending East from such junction to the North-eastern angle of the Military Settlements Land constituted a District under the "New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," on the 29th December, 1864, and on the East by a straight line extending from the North-eastern angle of the said Military Settlements Land to the most Easterly source of the Matahuru River, thence by a straight line extending to the summit of the Rataroa Range, and by the summit of the Rataroa Range to the Maungakawa summit, and thence in a straight line to Pukorokoro aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the Compensation Court will be holden at NGARUAWAHIA on the 7th of January next, and following days, to investigate the Claims of persons to Compensation on account of the taking, under sundry orders in Council made in pursuance of the New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863, of the undermentioned Blocks of Land in the District of Waikato.

KUPA KUPA.

All that Land known as the Kupa Kupa Block, and estimated to contain three thousand five hundred (3500) acres, bounded on the East by the Waikato River, on the North by a line running from the junction of the Wahi Lake outlet and the River Waikato, West by compass three miles, thence on the West by a line running South by compass to the Awa o te Atua River, and thence on the South by the Awa o te Atua River.

NOTICE is hereby given that a SITTING of the Compensation Court will be holden at Ngaruawahia, on the 14th of January next and following days, to investigate the claims of persons to compensation on account of the taking, under the order in Council, made on the 29th day of December, 1864, in pursuance of the "New Zealand Settlements Act, 1863," of the undermentioned block of land in the District of Waikato.

RANGIRIRI BLOCK.

All that land called the Rangiriri Block, bounded on the North by a line extending from the Northern boundary of the Waikari Lake West (magnetic) to the Waikato River, on the West by the Waikato River, on the East by the Waikari Lake, and on the South by a line extending West (magnetic) from the Southern boundary of the Waikari Lake to the Waikato River, excepting land granted to the late Mr. Armitage at Rawhitu.

MILITARY SETTLEMENTS.

All that land bounded on the North by a straight line running East from the junction of the Waipa and Horotiu Rivers to the Eastern boundary of the lands described in the Proclamation of December 17th, 1864, and by a prolongation of the same line running West from the junction of the Rivers Horotiu and Waipa to the summit of Hakarimata Range, on the West by the summits of the Hakarimata, the Kapamahunga and the Pirongia Ranges on the South by the Southern boundary of the aforementioned proclaimed lands, and on the East by the Eastern boundary of the aforementioned proclaimed lands to a point due East of the junction of the Waipa and Horotiu Rivers aforesaid.
