PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By DANIEL POLLEN, Esq., Deputy of the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in the Superintendent by the second clause of the "Highways Act, 1862," I do hereby declare that the lands comprised within the several boundaries hereunder described, shall be a district under the said Act, and that such district shall be known by the name thereto prefixed, that is to say,—
THE WAINGAROA DISTRICT,
Bounded on the North by the Whaingaroa Harbour and Waitetuna River; on the East by the boundaries of the Provincial Government Lands, between the Waitetuna River and Aotea Harbour; on the South by Aotea Harbour; and on the West by the Sea.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.
