Queen Street Wharf, now in force, I have added the following:

For every "Express" Van, drawn by one horse 6d.

For every "Express" Van, drawn by two horses 1s.

And I hereby give notice that the same will come into operation at the expiration of one month from the date hereof.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC SLAUGHTER-HOUSES.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 11th June, 1866.

IN exercise of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf, by the provisions contained in the eleventh section of "The Slaughter-house Act, 1866," of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Auckland, I do hereby revoke clause 3 of the Regulations of the 23rd of April, 1866, and do make and substitute the following clause in lieu thereof:—

  1. Such hours shall be from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., but the delivery gates shall be closed at 7 p.m. Provided always that on Monday mornings, for the said purposes, the said houses may open immediately after midnight.

And I do make the following further Regulation:—

  1. No person shall, in any Public Slaughter house, "blow" any veal or lamb, under a penalty not exceeding £5, to be recovered by any Inspector of Slaughter-houses.

I HEREBY notify, that the Run described below has been claimed by John Carrott:

SITUATION—Te Kiori Block (exclusive of Manuka’s claim of 680 acres), Kaipara District.

BOUNDARIES—On the North by a line running in an easterly direction, from Te Whiroa on the west coast, to the mouth of the Tangai river; on the East by the waters of the Wairoa river; on the South by a line running in a westerly direction from the north head of the Tangitiki river to the west coast; and on the West by the sea.

Estimated extent, 9,000 acres.

Number and description of stock upon the Run (to commence with), 500 sheep.
