VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen, Defender of the Faith:

TO William Hunter and George Dunnett, both of the City of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, auctioneers, trading together as partners in such business under the name, style, or firm of Hunter and Company; Henry Beavers, of Waikoukou, in the said Province of Auckland, settler; Tommy Smith, of the said Province of Auckland, the wife of one William Smith, the Defendant herein-after mentioned:

Greeting:

WHEREAS an action has been commenced in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, wherein one Johnson Wilkinson, of the City of Auckland, in the said Province and Colony is Plaintiff; and one William Smith, lately of Waikoukou, in the said Province and Colony, is Defendant: And whereas it has been made known to us that there is real and personal property belonging to the said William Smith now in the hands of, or in the custody, or under the control of you, the said William Hunter and George Dunnett, Henry Beavers, Tommy Smith:

We command that you do not sell or otherwise dispose of or part with the said real and personal property of the said William Smith, or any part thereof, until the further order of our Honorable Court shall be made known unto you.

Witness: His Honor Sir George Arney, Knight, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Colony of New Zealand, this Twenty-fifth day of April, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-six.

This Writ was issued by Thomas Shailer Weston, of Shortland-street, Auckland, Solicitor for the Plaintiff.
