The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862, and the Debtors and Creditors Amendment Act, 1865.

Edward Kinlock and Walter Pemberton Fookes both of Newmarket in the Province of Auckland veterinary surgeons;
Peter Storrier McKenzie of Auckland formerly hotel-keeper at present settler;
James Chapman of Auckland hotel keeper;
Henry Hawke Wright of Onehunga in the County of Eden store-keeper’s clerk;
William Leary of Auckland solicitor;
Felix Seymour of Onehunga in the Province of Auckland writing clerk;
Richard Taylor of Auckland builder;
Allan McIsaac of Kapanga in the Province of Auckland contractor;
James Anderson of Auckland store-keeper and farmer;
George Hodge of Onehunga near Auckland hotel-keeper and commission and shipping agent;
John Nield of the City of Auckland steward;
William King of Parnell near Auckland builder and publican;
Bernard Norden formerly of Picton then of Havelock then of Marlborough all in the Province of Marlborough in the Colony of New Zealand then of Taranaki in the said Colony store-keeper then of the City of Auckland in the said Colony;
John Mathews of the City of Auckland hotel-keeper;
George Henry Cheeseman of Onehunga in the Province of Auckland settler;
Henry Richard Jury of Auckland engineer;
Patrick Wynn of Freeman’s Bay Auckland in the County of Eden baker;
and Lawrence Robertson of the City of Auckland innkeeper.


NOTICE is hereby given, that the Creditors of the above-named Debtors are, on or before the 4th day of May next, to come in and prove their debts at the Court-house, Auckland; and notice is further given, that a sitting of the Court will be holden at the Court-house aforesaid, on Saturday, the 5th day of May next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the hearing of the petitions of the above-named Debtors; for the discharge of such of the above-named Debtors as the Court shall think entitled to the same; and for the dispatch of all business accruing under the said Act.

N.B.—The proof of debts in all cases in the first instance will be by affidavit.
