PROCLAMATION.

By ROBERT GRAHAM, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province
of Auckland, in the Colony of
New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act made and passed in
the twenty first year of the reign of Her
Majesty, Queen Victoria, intituled the “Auckland Waste Land Act, 1858,” it is among
other things enacted, That it should be lawful
for the Superintendent, by Proclamation, to
declare that a certain block of land therein described should be set apart and reserved for
certain Immigrants expected to arrive from
the United Kingdom or elsewhere, other than
the Australian Colonies.

Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority
vested in me in that behalf, I, the Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby proclaim that all that block of Land, comprising Lots Nos. one hundred and two (102)
to one hundred and nine (109) of the parish of
Awitu inclusive, estimated to contain seven
hundred and thirteen (713) acres, shall be reserved and set apart for certain Immigrants
expected to arrive from the United Kingdom.

sixty-five.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 20th April, 1865.

I HEREBY notify that the Chairman of
the Annual Meeting of the Electors of the
“Pakurangi District” has, in accordance with
the provisions of the “Highways’ Act, 1862,”
presented to me, in writing, the names of the
undermentioned gentlemen elected Highway
Trustees for that District :—

ALFRED BUCKLAND,
WILLIAM CAMPBELL,
FREDERICK HILL,
EVERY MACLEAN,
CHARLES ROBERTS.
