PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 1st May, 1865.

HEREBY notify for general information that by virtue of the authority vested in the Superintendent by the “Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1858,” I have appointed the undermentioned gentleman to be an emigration agent for the Province of Auckland,

WRIT OF ATTACHMENT.

VICTORIA by the Grace of God,
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen.

To James Redfern, of the City of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Blacksmith, and Hugh Coolahan, of the same place, Settler, greeting. Whereas an action has been commenced in the Supreme Court of the Colony of New Zealand, wherein Theodore Frederic Sandbach Tinne is Plaintiff and John Gibson is defendant, and whereas it has been made known to us that there is personal property belonging to the said John Gibson now in the hands of, in the custody, or under the control of you, the said James Redfern and Hugh Coolahan, we command you that you do not sell or otherwise dispose of, or part with, the said personal property of the said John Gibson, or any part thereof, until the further order of our said Court shall be made known to you,

Witness, Sir GEORGE ALFRED ARNEY,
Knight Chief Justice of our Supreme Court of the Colony of New Zealand, this twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

This writ was issued by Frederic Morris Preston Brookfield and Edward James Cox, of Queen Street, Auckland, Solicitors for Plaintiff.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

THE lands hereunder mentioned have been surveyed, and will be announced for sale by auction as soon as the relative plans can be lithographed, viz.:

WEST WAIUKU DISTRICT,
At the Mairn Block, about 3,500 acres, cut into allotments averaging 78 acres each.

At the Waipipi Block, about 9,600 acres, cut into allotments averaging 83 acres each.

MAUKU DISTRICT,
Part of the Patamahoe Block, comprising seven allotments, averaging 48 acres each.
