PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By Robert Graham, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent in that behalf by "The City and Harbor Endowments Act, 1858," I hereby notify for public information, that all that piece or parcel of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunder written, will be offered for lease by Mr. Samuel Cochrane, at his Auction Mart, Fort-street, by public auction, on Wednesday, the 9th day of August, 1865, under the said "City and Harbor Endowments Act, 1858."
Given under my hand, at Auckland, in the said province, this twenty-third day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

HEREBY notify for general information, that a Writ, issued by me on the third day of July, 1865, for the election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the District of Auckland West, has been returned with an endorsement thereon as follows:—
"I, Henry Colin Balneavis, the Returning Officer for the Electoral District of the City of Auckland West, do hereby declare that in pursuance of the writ to me directed, bearing date the third day of July, 1865, the undermentioned Candidate is duly elected a Member of the Provincial Council of the Province of Auckland for the said District."
