PROCLAMATION.
By ROBERT GRAHAM, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand,
IN virtue of the powers vested in me in that behalf, I, Robert Graham, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby make the following regulation, and do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the Twentieth day of February, 1865, all cattle arriving in the port of Auckland by sea, whether from places beyond or within the limits of the Colony, and for which a clean certificate shall have been issued in terms of the "Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," shall be landed on the western head of the Tamaki River, between the spot known as the Ahu, or the Pinnacle, on the Tamaki River, and following the highwater mark northward and westward to the point known as Wakama Point, on the Waitemata Harbour, and not elsewhere, under a penalty of £50 for each head of cattle so landed.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this Twenty-eighth day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

TENDERS FOR NORTH SHORE FERRIES.
Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 23rd January, 1865.
TENDERS will be received at this office until noon of Saturday, the 11th February next, for the performance of the undermentioned Ferry Services from 1st March next, viz. :—
Auckland to Stokes’ Point
to Shoal Bay
to Flagstaff Jetty
Specifications of conditions for the respective services may be seen on application at this office, where forms of tenders may be obtained.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for North Shore Ferry Service.”
