Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, July 17th, 1865.

I HEREBY notify for general information
that by virtue of the powers delegated
to me by His Excellency the Governor, under
the provisions of the “Diseased Cattle Act,
1861,” I have appointed

CHARLES JAMES STOREY, Esq.,
to be Sub-Inspector of Diseased Cattle for
the East Tamaki District, and South line of
Otahuhu Bridge, including the districts of
Franklin and Raglan.

Annual Meeting of the electors of the
Maungakaramea, has, in accordance with the
provisions of the “Highways Act, 1862,” pre-
sented to me in writing the names of the
undernentioned gentlemen elected Highway
Trustees for the District:

  • CHILD, Thomas
  • ROGERS, William Goodrich
  • LANDS, James
  • WILSON, Henry S.

“City Board Amendment Act, 1865,”
“Industrial School Act, 1862, Repealing
Act, 1865,”
“Cattle Landing Act, 1865,”
“City Board Loan Act, 1865,”
“Empowering Act, (No. 1.) 1865,”
“Empowering Act, (No. 2.) 1865,”
“Appropriation Act, 1865,”
having been laid before the Governor, His
Excellency has been pleased to leave the same
to their operation.

NATIVE LAND COURT OFFICE.

Auckland, July 17th, 1865.

In addition to those already Gazetted, the
undernentioned gentleman has received a
License to Survey Land, under the “Native
Land Act, 1862,”
